Medical Coding
Start your career in healthcare information management. As a Medical Coder you will review clinical documentation, assign accurate ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes, and ensure compliance for healthcare billing.
You will work closely with senior coders and quality auditors, learning payer rules, documentation standards and compliance practices used by US healthcare providers.
We are hiring 10 full-time positions at our Anantapuramu office. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply — structured training and mentorship will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Review medical records, logs, and indexing to accurately code diagnoses and procedures
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS Level II codes
- Process, edit, and submit HCFA/CMS-1500, UB-04, and ADA dental claims for reimbursement
- Perform accurate charge entry and charge posting for both physician and hospital billing
- Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) and investigate unpaid or underpaid claims
- Analyze rejected claims, manage the denials process, and draft appeals to resolve outstanding balances
- Audit claims submissions and edits to maintain revenue integrity and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
- Support payer-side operations, including claims processing, enrollment processing, and payment integrity reviews
- Query physicians and clinical staff for incomplete documentation
- Keep patient information confidential per HIPAA standards and stay current with annual code set updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or any allied health discipline
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good computer skills and comfort with coding software / EHR tools
- CPC / CCS certification (or in progress) is a plus — freshers welcome, training provided
